Administrative Team
Lisa Paine-Wells, Executive Director: Lisa brings extensive understanding of children and family services to CCLC. She has been a successful project management consultant for over 15 years. Prior positions include Senior Project Director at Kids Insight, a behavioral health software startup marketing to public child welfare and juvenile justice, and Senior Consultant for the Annie E. Casey Foundation. She holds a BA in Social Work and Women's Studies from the University of Maryland and a MPA in Human Services Management from the University of Baltimore. Lisa joined CCLC in January 2019.
Lisa Pendleton, Program Director: Lisa began her early childhood career in 1992 while her children attended CCLC, transitioning from nursing to teaching after many hours of volunteer time. She became Program Director in 2014 and holds multiple certifications in early childhood education from Lord Fairfax CC, an AA in Education, and a BS in Professional Communication from Old Dominion University. Lisa is a Child Health Care Consultant through the VA Department of Health, Red Cross Instructor, Medication Administration Trainer, and a Nationally Certified Playground Inspector. She also holds a ServSafe Food Protection Manager & Allergens Certification and Food Handler Exam Proctor, a Child Nutrition Professional (CCNP) & Management Professional (CMP) certification through Child Adult Care Food Program (CACFP-USDA). She is a certified Teachstone CLASS observer for Infant, Toddler and Pre-K and a Professional Development Specialists with the Council for Professional Recognition for the Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credentialing Program. She volunteers for the Rappahannock Rapidan Medical Reserves.
Kim Goodwin, Office Manager: Kim has years of experience in classroom teaching, CACFP USDA coordination, and after-school and summer enrichment programming. She has been employed at CCLC since 1988. Kim holds a Child Development Associate credential from Lord Fairfax Community College, a ServSafe: Food Protection Manager Certification through the National Restaurant Association and a Virginia Early Childhood Administrator Professional Credential.
Amy Nash, Procare Coordinator: As a tuition billing coordinator, Amy also manages the Procare Solutions progam we use at CCLC for communication with families. Employeed since Apr 2022.
Classroom Management
Elvira Yanez, Infant Lead Teacher: AA in Education, Lord Fairfax Community College. Employed since August 2013. (CCLC Alumna!)
Carly Seabolt, Toddler/Young Two’s Lead Teacher: Holds a CDA since Dec 2024. Employed since July 2020.
Katelyn Cole, Tot’s Lead Teacher: Holds a CDA since Jan 2025. Employed since Jan 2022.
Megan Jones, Early Threes Lead Teacher:
Cindi Summerfield, Preschool Lead Teacher: BS in Nursing, Shenandoah University. BA in Business Administration, Chowan University. Lord Fairfax Community College AA in Education candidate. Cindi holds a Virginia Early Childhood Administrator Professional Credential. Employed since May 2018.
Cassie Woodard, Preschool Lead Teacher: BS Program in Early Childhood Education. Holds a CDA. Employed since June 2016.
Amy Ruble, Preschool Lead Teacher: AA in Early Childhood Education, Montgomery County Community College. Employed since April 2004.
